Chrysanthemum now Dendranthema
rubellum 'Sheffield Pink'
These get big and full and bloom in the fall just when you think they've given up. Like all mums, they need pinching in early summer to stay more compact.
'Sheffield Pink' is an old cultivar that is a soft pink, almost apricot.

I planted them around the gravel garden, then added some by the patio wall. And I put some divisions behind the doublefile viburnum in the back garden too.
In May dig up old plants, toss old woody bits, divide and replant. In early June at about 6 inches high, pinch half an inch off. Pinch again before mid July, but not after.
