Planted 'Troll' in spring 2015, under the guest room window. It is a tiny dwarf that has been trained into a skinny little standard. Weird, but kind of a neat accent. I got it at Twin Nursery in Canton.

It's so odd, but a perfect little size in that empty spot. How big will it get? Up over the bottom of the windows? I really like how it looks, stiff and structural, hiding behind the billowy big shrubs around it.

It didn't put on much size in 2016. Kind of a funny shape.

Even though it's a dwarf, it gets the famous yellow fall color and drops all it leaves at once in late fall.
