Malva sylvestris - Ex Plant
'Zebrina'It was really pretty while it lasted, from 2010 to 2012, but it gone now as of 2014.
Really striking tall pink striped blooms, very nice in the mid level of the Birch Garden.
It got eaten severely a couple times in the summer, but came back each time.
This is short lived, grown as biennial, but it self seeds, so there may be more in the garden.
It is tall, like a hollyhock, and the stripey flowers are really delightful.

Hmmm, I did not notice the pretty pink flowers of this plant in 2013. It is a biennial, so it disappears after two years, but it will self seed, but I am not sure it did.
